Trinity Baptist Preschool is seeking a committed, enthusiastic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team.
Trinity Baptist Preschool offers a faith-based program inspired by learning through-play for 3 and 4-year old children in our newly-renovated imaginative classroom. We follow the Elk Island School calendar and offer morning classes through the school year on weekday mornings open from 8:30-12:30.
Due to Covid-19 start date and hours are yet to be determined for the 2020/21 school year. Willingness to adapt to AHS Covid Guidelines is a necessity for this position.
We are looking for a dedicated member to join our team to be a part of a high-quality program that meets the developmental needs of children and fosters curiosity, early learning, imagination, age-appropriate expressions of faith and social interaction with others.
A great candidate for this position will be a person of active Christian faith with passion to minister to children and their families. A commitment to agree with Trinity Baptist Church’s Statement of Faith which may be found at www.tbcsherwoodpark.ca under “What we Believe” is required.
The ideal candidate will preferably have Child Development Supervisor certification (Previously level 3 ECE) and substantial experience working with children aged 3-5 in classroom settings. A strong candidate will also have solid communication, organization and classroom management skills as well as the ability to work well with others on a team. This job will be an ideal fit for someone who is dependable, creative, people oriented, adaptable and flexible.
Wages will be based on experience and education but will range from $19.00/Hr. +
