Our preschool team is made up of 4 teachers as well as our director, Pastor Ashley.

Our teachers are so happy to be able to walk this preschool road with your family for a little while and we are passionate about seeing children grow in all developmental areas and  helping them to know they are deeply loved by their Creator.

Kimberly Barber

Kimberly Barber has been working professionally with children for over 15 years.  She has several years experience as director and head teacher at a local Sherwood Park preschool and has worked for Strathcona County preschool programs.  She gets excited watching children move through developmental stages and loves to laugh and play with children!  Kimberly loves spending time with her husband and two teens and is happy if they are together enjoying summer weather being active.  Her favourite children's books are "Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes" by Eric Litwin and "Alligator Baby" by Robert Munsch.  Kimberly can't wait to play and learn with your children this year!

After graduating from the Early Childhood Development Program at Grant MacEwan she served in several teaching roles from being a Nanny, to operating her own preschool, to day home provider, Preschool Director/Worker, and a Mother’s Helper to Foster Families. She loves to engage with children and have fun doing all kinds of activities with them. Outside of childcare, she loves to spend time watching her kids at the rink and enjoys summers with her husband, three children, and dog at the lake.
