I'm New Here.....
What Should I Expect?
Arrival. When you arrive for Sunday morning service, greeters, ushers, and info desk volunteers are here to help you with any questions you may have. While you wait for service to begin, grab a cup of coffee on us!
Service. Our services blend both traditional and contemporary expressions of worship. We use a broad range of musical content and style to remind us that God is at work right now in the world. You will experience worship though music, prayer, Bible based teaching, and the giving of tithes and offerings. Our worship service is usually approximately 75 minutes in length.
Communion. Although the exact Sunday may vary, we typically serve communion on the first Sunday of every month. This is a time of reflection, thanksgiving, and solemn remembrance as we focus on Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. We practice open communion here at Trinity Baptist Church. This means that everyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour is welcome to participate. If you have not yet made that commitment, feel free to pass the communion plate on to the next person. The Pastor Staff here at Trinity would love to connect with you and answer any questions you may have about communion and what it means to the Christian believer.
Prayer. After the morning service, a Pastor or Council member will be available at the front of the sanctuary to pray with you if you would like.
Kids. We offer weekly Sunday morning ministries from birth to Grade 6. Our children’s program is just down the stairs where you will be greeted by a host at the sign in desk who will help you sign in your children. For children under Grade 1, parents will receive name and security tags and will need to show their security tag in order to pick up their child. Once your children are registered, signed in and settled, parents can go upstairs to worship.
