In Trinity CFM we are always welcoming of new team members to provide children a safe, caring, and fun place to learn the truths of God’s Word. We focus on building and fostering relationship with Jesus and others through age-appropriate, interactive lessons, activities, worship, and prayer. We have 3 different age groups each Sunday morning that range from toddlers to pre-teens, and we work as teams in each age group. Click this link to learn more about what it looks like to be on a team once a month and what serving the different age groups looks like. We’d love to invite you to join us in a role with this vital ministry of our church.
Our ushers work to extend hospitality and create a safe and caring environment for those who come to worship on Sunday mornings. Manning the Information Desk, hosting Children’s Ministries, connecting with newcomers and providing coffee are some of the ways ushers serve our church community.
Trinity has a long history of active involvement in local and global missions. This group stewards and champions missions by maintaining relationships with our missions' partners and encouraging missional living and mission involvement within our congregation. If you love missions, you should join this team!
Our pastoral care team is a committed group of volunteers who seek to provide tangible care to our congregants. They provide tangible care in things like delivering frozen meals, transporting seniors to appointments, and being compassionate listeners for those facing difficulty. The more people who serve on this team, the more pastoral care we can offer!
Every second Monday night, a group of volunteers performs maintenance and improvements on our church property. Though the emphasis of the group is on practical service, good friendships are formed as we serve together. No formal training or experience is necessary, but this is an excellent place to share your skills in the trades if you have them! There is always room for more people to join!
Trinity has been sponsoring and settling refugees for many years from places like Syria and the Ukraine. It takes a sizeable team to navigate applications, logistics, and ongoing support. If you have a passion for helping newcomers to Canada, this group would be an excellent place to serve.
On any given Sunday, many volunteers work with our Worship Arts Pastor to lead the congregation in gathered worship. For more information on specific roles, click here. If you are gifted in music, voice, or love working with sound and video tech, this is a good place to serve.
