Welcome to The Journey of Generosity (JOG) experience. This retreat was developed by Generous Giving, which is fully and privately funded, so we never ask for donations at these events. There is no hidden agenda. The JOG allows people to explore the why of giving and how it’s connected to your heart, without ever asking for money.

My wife and I took in this experience and found it very moving. We thought we were generous people, but this information brought us to a new level in terms of thinking about and being generous people.

We will be offering this as a one-day course from 9:30-430Pm on November 15th at Trinity (Fireside Room). A pasta lunch will be included at a cost of $5 per person with the balance picked up by a generous person.

The retreat is slow-paced and conversational. Participants have a chance to watch inspiring stories, engage in meaningful discussion, read Scripture, and reflect on the Biblical message of generosity.

What participants are saying:

“What I really found different about the experience is that no one gave me a solution or prescription. They just allowed me to begin to wrestle with and recognize that this journey I was on was about me drawing closer to God.” - JOG Participant

“Next to the day of our salvation, the experience at the JOG was the single greatest change to our understanding of our relationship with Christ and what that means for the rest of our lives. It has caused us to completely rethink everything about how we were defining success, what we were aiming at, and how we were thinking about things as a family.” - JOG Participant

Suggested age range 40+.
